As I start packing for my annual trip to France, there are a few pieces that make it into my suitcase every single year.

These mohair jerseys are two of them.

A few years ago, I discovered the beautiful locally made knitwear from Luminous Ware | Mohair & Merino Wool Knitwear and bought the pink Jackie jersey.

It quickly became one of the hardest-working pieces in my wardrobe. This year, I added the duck egg blue version, and both are coming along for the adventure.

Bubblegum pink has quietly become my winter colour crush 💗
While I love a bold fuchsia in summer, this softer pink feels fresh, playful and surprisingly versatile for the cooler months.
Here are 5 colours I love pairing it with:

🩵 Duck egg blue
🩶 Medium grey

A reminder that colour doesn't have to disappear when winter arrives. Sometimes the softest shades make the biggest statement.

My easiest tip:

Start with pieces that have at least one colour in common.

Here I've mixed checked trousers, a leopard-print turtleneck and a tweed blazer. They all share warm tan tones, which makes the combination feel intentional rather than busy.

The finishing touch? A silk scarf and brooch that repeat the colours throughout the outfit and bring everything together. ✨

From blanket to coat 🧥🥳

Last year, I made myself a coat from a mohair blanket and loved it so much that this year I wanted to try something a little different.

A while ago, I found this old blanket at a flea market and fell in love with the colours and texture. It sat in my fabric stash for months until this week, when I finally decided to turn it into something wearable.

A few hours later, this light coat was born — and I couldn't be happier with the result.

There's something incredibly satisfying about giving forgotten textiles a second life and creating something unique with your own hands.

I'll share another reel soon showing how I made it by copying the shape of one of my favourite coats.

No pattern, just a bit of creativity and experimentation!

Look of the day!🤩

Today's look is built around one of my favourite winter combinations: a navy cashmere turtleneck and a check linen suit.

I tend to gravitate towards a slightly masculine silhouette when wearing trousers in winter. It's comfortable, practical, and feels very much like me.

But the magic happens in the details.

These three orange brooches add the fun, bold element that softens the look and brings a touch of femininity while still feeling professional.

Because personal style isn't about copying and pasting what everyone else is wearing online.

It's about understanding what feels authentic to you and learning how to express it with confidence.

And I loved it..

There is no magic recipe for Style !

It takes practice, willingness to explore and creativity!

and let's be honest..

None of us get it right all the time.

This time I mixed purple with light grey and it worked for me.
