Last week, the sweetest little girl came in with her mum… holding a drawing of her dream dress that she designed and coloured all by herself 🎨

She looked at me and asked if I could make it exactly like her picture… and of course, I said yes 😊

It was truly an honour to tailor this unique piece for Dave , the oldest bagpiper in South Africa.

At 75 years old, with 67 years of dedication to his craft, Dave is not just a musician ,he is a living legacy. From the age of 8, he has devoted his life to the sound of the bagpipes, bringing dignity, respect and emotion to countless occasions, including final last rites across the country.

To create a garment for someone so trusted and talented is something I don’t take lightly.
