Creatives yearned for exposure but they were always turned away because there just wasn't enough space to get noticed or because they were too different. A handful of evil fashionistas didn't want to share the spotlight and masses of little designers were left roaming the south withou
t any way to showcase their wares. Then SAM - South African Made was born and the designers jumped for joy as they fist pumped the air with a chorus of "hoorah!", and Hope was restored in all the land. But the fight is not over and we have just begun to build the SAM movement. Designers join the ranks in support of local manufacturing each week and the SAM family continues to grow.
