JUST IN: The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has recorded a road crash along the Great North Road in Kapiri District at the rail crossing in which a Truck carrying fuel and a Train collided causing an explosion.

The RTSA, Zambia Police and Fire Brigade are at the accident scene to manage the situation.

Motorist and all road users are therefore, advised to proceed with caution.

Man confesses to killing, burning, burying sister-in-law

IN A premeditated murder of a beloved one, a suspect, Ernest Miti, 28, of Lusaka’s Hellen Kaunda, has confessed that he and his girlfriend allegedly hacked to death Agatha Liyungu, 34, his sister-in-law.

Miti, tall and slender, told the Daily Mail in an interview yesterday from a police station where he is detained, that his girlfriend, 29, allegedly mooted the idea to murder her sister because she was “a stumbling block” to their relationship.

Police in Chipata have apprehended some suspects in connection with the alleged r**e case scandal which happened in broad day light in the Chipata City's Golf course.

Eastern Province Acting Police Commanding Officer, Davis Simwanza says investigations have intensified. He however could not disclose more details for fear of jeopardizing investigations.

On Thursday police launched a manhunt for the man who was captured in video allegedly ra**ng a woman while his accomplices cheered him on and held the woman’s hands and legs.

The two minutes five seconds video recorded by a bystander has gone viral leading to wide spread public outrage.

A TEACHER WITH PROLONGED PERIODS CALLS FOR HELP 😭😭😭🙏🙏

MY name is Monica Chasha. I am 24 years old and i live in Shibuyunji.

I am a teacher waiting for deployment.

I started experiencing heavy prolonged periods three months ago. This went on for a whole month. I went to the hospital where I was given some medicine, which stopped the bleeding briefly, but it started again .I went back to the hospital to see a gynaecologist who sent me for a biopsy. My biopsy appointment is next week.

I have shared my story on Mwebantu Trendsetters Two because i am in need of diapers. The bleeding is so heavy, sanitary pads alone are not helping unless I wear a diaper on top of the sanitary pad.

I prefer to be wrapped in either a bath towel or bed sheet because I don't want to mess up my clothes.

I have since developed rashes because I do not change my pads frequently.
I have also started to look pale so I drink water from boiled avocado leaves which my mother prepares. I am told it's good for blood.

My mother is facing financial problems and she has challenges of buying diapers for me. A packet of adult diapers here cost k180 ,an amount which my mother is struggling to find.

I am therefore appealing to well wishers to please come on board and assist me with diapers.

“I WAS R**ED BY MY HEAD TEACHER AT A SCHOOL WHERE I WAS THE ONLY FEMALE TEACHER; I AM DYING SLOW ly ..... am a primary school teacher aged 27. I want to voice out something that has been eating me up since 2020. My head teacher r**ed me in his office.
It so happened that I was the only female teacher at a school in some rural part of Zambia. This headteacher came on transfer from a different district and was single at the time. He kept making advances on me but I could scare him off in front of all teachers by saying I was going to report any admistrator who proposes to me to DEBS.

One day a circular came that civil servants should submit documents for head count. We submitted everything to him together with my colleagues but I didn't know that he decided to take advantage of that circular. He called me the next day very early in the morning saying I was missing some details and that he needed it urgently because he was sending the information on WhatsApp.
I entered his office only for him to close the door behind me and locked it. That was when he r**ed me. Immediately he released in me, he left me there crying and locked me inside the office. Minutes later, I heard the door unlock but he was nowhere to be seen. I went straight to his house with an aim of beating him. At that moment,
I didn't care what could happen to me because I was feeling disgusted and furious. I went to his house upto his bedroom but didn't find him. He ran away I don't know where to. With the anger in me, I broke his TV after the incident. I left home to the nearest police station but the station was closed. I went back home, and he shamelessly came to my home and begged me not to take the case anywhere because he was going to lose his job and in return he will not report me to police for breaking his TV. Then he started saying he can just marry.
I accepted to marry him thinking that way, I was going to heal not knowing it will be worse. I married him in June but whenever he slept with me, I could feel like he was ra**ng me, I was never comfortable. Sometimes I could even cry, I still felt worthless as a woman. I decided to leave his house to my parents house in January 2021, by then I was 7 months pregnant. We divorced in August the same year but upto now I haven't healed from the r**e that happened in 2020. I feel like the reason is because I didn't open up. I have been feeling this in my heart from 2020 until this time. I feel like if I had reported him that time, I would have been fine by now. The only feeling I have in my heart right now is hate for any man that proposes to me especially. What can I do to relieve this feeling because I feel like I am dying slowly. That monster ruined my life and he just got away with it.
