TO MY FELLOW SILWIZYA WARD 13 RESIDENTS

I have walked your streets, sat in your homes, and listened to your concerns — from Northmead and Thornpark to Luangwa and beyond. What I see is a people of resilience: hardworking men and women who don’t wait for change, but create it for their families every day.

I also hear the frustration. Mothers who need a 24/7 healthcare facility they can trust at night. Young people searching for skills and opportunities. Families tired of flooded roads and no garbage collection. Elders who simply want to feel safe in their own homes.

If you are reading this, remember: you have already survived days that once felt impossible. That strength is Silwizya’s greatest asset. Progress won’t come overnight, but it comes when we move together — step by step, with courage and faith in God’s timing. Do not let fear keep us from the Silwizya we know we can become: cleaner, safer, and more inclusive for our women, our youth, and our children.

My name is kaoma I am stepping forward as an Independent Aspiring Councilor for Silwizya Ward 13. I am not asking for a title.
