Dear Mr. President- Elect
Congratulations on your victory. As you prepare to retake office, your first and most vital mission is to heal our nation. I urge you to begin your presidency with a powerful message of love and unity. We need a leadership that brings people together, ensuring that every Zambian accepts and appreciates one another, regardless of their tribe, ethnicity, or region.
Truly, "leadership makes eyes red" I encourage you to stay strong and not to act exactly as you will be treated. Its not everyone who will praise you and its not everyone who will criticise you.
In every government, there will always be poeple who will complain and poeple who will appreciate.
To build a truly united Zambia, please consider these crucial steps:
1. Be a President for All: Do not blame or retaliate against those who did not vote for you. You are now the president of every single Zambian, including those who campaigned against you or do not support you.
2. Look Forward, Not Backward: Minimize talking about how poorly you were treated while in the opposition. The campaign is over; it is time to focus entirely on leading us into a better future rather than dwelling on past wounds.
3. Distribute Care Equally: Your appreciation and development efforts must go to every corner of Zambia and be shared equally among all provinces, without favoritism.
4. Bridge the Political Divide: Make it a priority to personally visit, or send high-level representatives to, the regions and districts where you did not perform well in the elections to show them they are not forgotten.
5. Listen to the People: Allow citizens to speak freely about the challenges they are facing. Create platforms where they can express how they feel and offer their own ideas on how they can be helped. When we say "speak" we don't meant poeple should insult no. allow poeple to tell you if they are happy or not happy with the way things are done.
6. Make "ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION" your daily opening slogan. We want to see the same or even better peace that we have experienced in the last 5 years of your leadership.
Let love lead by maintaining the same peace and freedom in bus stations, work places, schools, marked places and in all government institutions.
We want a country where everyone respects, protects, and accepts each other. By embracing these principles, you can foster true national reconciliation and lead us toward a prosperous, undivided Zambia.
ONE ZAMBIA...! ONE NATION...!
CONGRATULATIONS OUR PRESIDENT ....!
WE CELEBRATE YOUR VICTORY...! 🥳 🎉 🎊
