Kizita Chambuleni, popularly known as Zita, is the founder and creative force behind Zita Fashions, a fashion brand she established in 2019. What began as a dream with zero followers has grown into a thriving community of over 2,200 followers, built through dedication, creativity, and an unwavering passion for fashion.
From childhood, fashion was more than just an interest for Zita—it was a gift. She discovered her love for designing and creating garments at a young age, and over the years, she nurtured that gift into a profession. Determined to sharpen her talent, she trained closely with Vida Fashions, where she refined her skills in tailoring, design, and garment construction.
For Zita, fashion is about more than clothing; it is about putting smiles on people's faces and helping them feel confident and beautiful. She pours her heart into every project, often sacrificing her time, energy, and comfort to ensure every outfit meets the highest standard of excellence. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality have earned her recognition, including being featured on Best Brides and Weddings Zambia for designing and tailoring her own stunning bridesmaid dresses and Chilanga Mulilo attire.
Over the years, Zita has showcased remarkable versatility and creativity. From elegant wedding gowns and formal wear to casual outfits, she has continuously pushed the boundaries of fashion. Her talent extends beyond clothing, as she skillfully transforms African print fabrics into beautiful shoes, handbags, earrings, headpieces, and other accessories. She is also known for her ability to breathe new life into thrift wear, transforming ordinary pieces into fashionable masterpieces.
Throughout her journey in her twenties, Zita has experienced growth, success, and valuable lessons. She credits much of her progress to the support and encouragement of her family and friends, who believed in her vision and motivated her to keep pursuing her dreams even during challenging times.
