While I was actually mid bachata in this pic, it really looks like I’m casting a spell, and I’m not sad about it!

3 nights of dance teaching and learning this week and choreographing 2 routines - it feels somewhat like a baby dance comeback is afoot.

Learning traditional techniques from has been giving me the motivation and love of dance I’ve been waiting to find me once more. Isn’t learning the best?!

New dance headshots are here and it’s fun to move and teach again!

Still not sure if I’ll be getting on stage anytime soon and just finding me feet and listening to my body to figure out the bits of it all that I love and the bits of the dance industry that don’t serve me.

Coming back in older and wiser is such a different experience, and listening to my heart and mind rather than ego and competition makes me so aware of how much I’ve grown.

I adore these pics, THANK YOU! Pics taken in the courtyard of my dreamy yoga studio - try them out if you’re in Adelaide (they’ve changed my life)!

What an absolute ripper of a night.

10 years of marriage is no mean feat. I’m so proud of us and so thankful for our beautiful life, families, and this special celebration.

Incredible big thank you to the spectacularly talented for these epic shots (and so many more) and for being THE BEST hosts. Also huge thanks to for bringing the vibes.

Too tired for too much bling today but honouring this Indian holiday by fusing Aussie made with Indian fabrics.

Ethical fashion and size inclusivity together is RARE. But have you sorted in the underwear department at least. Everything can be customised to your size. It’s an actual dream!

We had THE MOST fun shooting with this week. I can’t wait to show you the incredible beauty she created!

Tan is fading. Thesis is growing… as is my bum! Such is the ebb and flow of life.

While travelling last month I read the first half of ‘s This One Wild and Precious Life. The first non-phd reading I’ve done in yearsssss!

I noted down almost every second sentence. It resonated so much with what I was feeling in that moment, witnessing the Balinese live with and adhere to such incredibly strong and resilient cultural and spiritual authenticity. Sitting wondering where and what my culture was. My purpose. My power. If I really had any, or needed to?

I adore this quote in particular. It relates to every aspect of my life. And I sat (by a pool staring at rice paddies, mind you) wondering how everyone else around me was feeling.

How do you feel?

Sarah also wrote, “Moral loneliness is when the supply cord to connection, caring and doing the right thing by each other and the planet has been severed.”

Whether its your daily attempts to do better by the planet, your slow fashion journey, abortion advocacy, or something else entirely…

Does this resonate? How are YOU feeling?

Has your supply cord been severed? Humanity’s? Or do you feel supported and empowered by community? Both?

Yesterday, for the first time in as long as I can remember (I’d guess around 18 years) I didn’t look down at my tummy, or lift my shirt in a mirror, to see how much it was poking out.

When I realised this I felt overcome at the progress it symbolises in not spending every waking moment worrying about my body. I now have more days when I love my body than days when I worry about it.

It’s a long and conscious journey but the results are… magic, love, contentment… so worth it.

Photoshoots that produce magical imagery like these by .disher have been so central to learning to see the beauty in my body. They may seem a work of vanity, but I really believe they are a tool of self-love.
