The fabric was never an afterthought. ☀️

When I was developing Eascaper, I didn’t just want UPF 50+ protection. I wanted a top that looked like normal everyday clothing and felt so good that kids would actually want to wear it.

That’s where our bamboo blend really earns its place.

It’s lightweight, breathable, stretchy and incredibly soft — my son describes it as “silky.” And for kids who really notice how fabrics feel against their skin, that softness can make a big difference.

Does bamboo blend cost a little more? Yes. But for me, it was worth it.

Because UPF 50+ protection is much more useful when it’s built into a favourite top they’re happy to reach for again and again.

Soft enough to become a favourite.

UPF 50+ to help protect the skin it covers.

One less thing for parents to think about.

And if you’re wondering whether your child will love the feel as much as mine does, you can try Eascaper at home with our 30-day Love It or Return It policy.*

Available now in sizes 2–12 at eascaper.com.au

Spring parenting maths 🌤️

Spring is here - which means warmer days, changeable weather and plenty of those unplanned outdoor moments that somehow turn into much longer ones.

You head out for an errand.
You stop at the park.
You drive past the beach and suddenly everyone wants to get out.

Before you know it, the “quick stop” has become the afternoon.

That’s exactly the kind of everyday life Eascaper was designed for.

The idea was never to make another technical-looking sun shirt that kids tolerate (or flat out refuse) because we tell them to wear it.

I wanted something that looks and feels like a favourite everyday top - but just so happens to have UPF 50+ protection built into the fabric, blocking 98% of UV across the skin it covers.

And our signature fabric is a huge part of that.

Eascaper is made from our soft bamboo-blend fabric with stretch. It’s lightweight, breathable and incredibly soft against the skin.

It doesn’t have that scratchy, synthetic feel you might associate with some nylon or polyester fishing shirts and traditional technical sunwear.

My son actually calls his Eascaper top “silky.”
And for the sensory souls who notice exactly how something feels against their skin, that matters.

Because the best sun-protective top in the world isn’t particularly useful if your child keeps asking to take it off!

Eascaper is designed to be the opposite: a top they reach for because it feels good, looks like everyday clothing and moves with them.

The spring parenting maths becomes simple.

Get them to wear it on its own when the weather is warm. If the temperature drops, simply layer a jumper over the top.

It’s everyday sunwear for playgrounds, beach stops, after sport adventures, weekends away and all those moments you never quite planned for.

Because “we’re only staying five minutes” has a funny way of becoming fifty. ☀️

Eascaper - lightweight, buttery-soft bamboo-blend UPF 50+ sunwear for kids.

When was the last time your quick stop unexpectedly turned into an afternoon outside?

Market prep now includes… choosing the soundtrack 🎶

Testing out digital radio for the Eascaper stall at the Henley Square Markets later this month.

ABC Kids Radio used to be part of the soundtrack to my stay-at-home-mum days before school, so this was unexpectedly nostalgic. 🥹

I’m just trying it on for size… but I’m not sure it fits. Eascaper does sizes 2–12 after all. 😂

I normally favour Blender Beats — although occasionally something comes on that’s not quite family-market friendly, so I may need to keep one hand near the channel button.

What would you choose for the stall? ABC Kids Radio, Blender Beats… or is there another digital station I should try? 🎵

Market prep has created an unexpected problem… 😂

I bought some toys for the upcoming Eascaper market stall for a ‘lucky dip’ (of which there were several) and my son spotted a toy he really wanted.

He begged.
I said no. 😬🙅‍♀️👎

My children do not get lucky dip privileges.

My daughter also begged when one of the toys also caught her eye - my answer was still no.

Mean mum… or fair enough? 😂👇

Last day of winter pricing 🥶

Adelaide clearly got the memo - the sun is out and spring feels right on time.

20% Eascaper gear ends tonight.

If you’ve been thinking about one for the warmer beach days ahead, this is your chance at the winter price. 🧡

Market prep has officially begun 😅

I’ve been accepted for Henley Square Markets next month, which meant it was time to tackle the new marquee…

Turns out setting up a 3×3 marquee by yourself is a little more intimidating than I expected. 😂

The marquee will not defeat me… I hope!

Any seasoned market stallholders have setup tips for me? 👇

It looks like a long-sleeve top.
But it’s doing a whole lot more. ☀️

Eascaper is made with UPF 50+ fabric, independently tested to block 98% of UV rays through the fabric.

Because when kids are outside, covering up is a good start. Knowing their level of protection is better.

Just give it a crack.

This morning my daughter is practising the recorder for her assessment at school today.
I’ve told her before that there’s really only one way to get better at something… practise.

And I’ve also told her not to worry about being better than anyone else. The only person she needs to compete with is herself.
Can you play it a little better than you did last time?

So I asked her what she was going to do this morning.

Her response? “I’ll just give it a crack.”

And honestly… you go girl. ❤️

Maybe that’s the parenting goal.

To teach them to prepare, have a go, keep improving — but not put so much pressure on themselves that they forget to enjoy the process.

And I suppose that’s a little of what I’m trying to do with Eascaper too.

Make the things parents have to remember just a little easier — so when the day takes you somewhere unexpected, you’re already prepared.

Ready for life. ☀️
