The final look dress was created in collaboration with , merging mathematics and experimental design into a sculptural wearable form.
“Hypnohepto” is a visual representation of the hyperbolic plane, constructed from interconnected regular heptagons that cannot form a flat, edge-to-edge tessellation. Because the interior angles of a regular heptagon do not divide evenly into 360°, the structure is forced into negative curvature, stretching into hyperbolic space rather than a standard Euclidean plane. The asymmetrical form of “Hypnohepto” uses this mathematical tension to create an unexpected relationship between body and garment, connecting the weight of the human form with the delicate structure of silk organza as a reminder that mathematics is deeply embedded within life itself.
