This hat is handmade "from scratch" by fusing an upcycled silk dress and merino wool in a process called nuno (wet) felting. Finished this inspired cloche today with a delicate silk scarf wrapped around the hat and fashioned into a flower. Channeling the 20’s, pastel tones and a little Holly Hobby patchwork, this cloche is stunning, feminine and one of a kind. 💓. Can’t wait to see it on a model.

This is the faaaabulous Carol modelling my latest Gossamer hat called Cayenne. She and our young counterpart Pepper modeled this hat, showing that really it is fit for all ages!
