If you'll be in grade 10 to 12 in the next school year, and have a interest in learning more about Firefighting, here's a great opportunity to enroll in a after school fire cadet program at the New Glasgow Fire Department. Starting in September 2026, you will have an opportunity to receive a Fire Fighter 11 high school credit. Come see Mr. Langlois in room 2178 for more information. Information Session Date TBD!

My Official Retirement date of April 21, 2023 is fast approaching. I’ve said all along ‘anything booked by April 21 would be done, after that, it’s not going to happen .’
NEW WRINKLE: I will be having my second knee replacement on Feb 1. This will put me out of commission, as far as sewing goes, for at least two months. I already have four Prom gowns, two Wedding gowns and an order of four teddy bears booked. At this point I can safely say that this is all the sewing that I can accept at this time and going forward.
I never dreamed my knee surgery would be happening so soon, but I’m glad it is. There comes a time when a person has to say ‘me first’ and this is my time.
If we have talked about your gown, you’re in. If you’ve been waiting to contact me, I won’t be able to help you.

Just want to let you all know that I won’t be taking on any new sewing jobs for the next month or so. I have an amazing costume to create for the beautiful Fiona in “Shrek the Musical”, being put on by NNEC in November.
Then I have a dozen Teddy Bears to make before Christmas!
