Many of you first got to know me through Ling Studio, and you may have noticed that we’ve recently changed our name to MayTen Craft. We’ve also kept “Ling Studio” on our Instagram for now, so I wanted to share a little explanation to avoid any confusion.
Ling is my first name, which is why we originally chose Ling Studio as our studio name. But where I grew up, Ling is actually a very common first name, and over time we also discovered several other “Ling Studio” accounts online.
As our little studio continues to grow, we felt it was time to use a name that is more uniquely ours — our brand name, MayTen Craft.
The name MayTen also holds a very special meaning for me and my family, which makes it even more meaningful to carry with us as we move forward.
From now on, you’ll see us more and more as MayTen Craft. The name may be changing, but it’s still us, still our hands, and still the same love and care behind everything we make. 🧶🌷
