A little encouragement for anyone quietly questioning their creativity. Save it. Come back to it on the days self-doubt gets loud. Keep going.

Share it with a creative friend who needs this encouragement too 🙌🏽.

So apparently 2016 is the new 2026… and it’s had me thinking 🤔❤️.

2016 was the year Handmade by Kunbi was born. A year filled with knitting, crocheting, and making something every single day to make up for all the years prior where I had abandoned my beloved crafts. I even randomly picked up sewing!

So much has changed since then, but what I’m committed to keeping, always, is the joy in the making. The excitement, the curiousity, the care poured into every piece I create. Wherever Handmade by Kunbi is headed next, that joy is staying right at the centre.

Taking what worked, letting go of what didn’t, and moving forward with a little more ease 🙌🏽🧶.

Have you got 2025 things you’ll keep doing in 2026? LMK in the comments.

Imposter syndrome doesn’t always show up loudly.
Sometimes, it’s quiet…the little voice that questions whether you’re good enough, whether you even belong in the first place.

But that voice isn’t the truth. You don’t need to be perfect to take up space. You don’t need to have all the answers to keep showing up. You’re allowed to learn, to try, and to grow, exactly as you are.

👉🏽 Save this for the days when doubt feels louder than usual.

And if imposter syndrome is something you’ve dealt with, what’s helped you through it?

🎄✨ 8 weeks to go! If you’re thinking handmade gifts this year (without the late-December panic), this is your sign to start if you haven’t started yet!

Here are 5 project ideas you can actually finish by Christmas.

Running a creative business while navigating perimenopause (or any big life challenge) is no small thing.

What I’ve learned along the way is this: slowing down doesn’t mean you’re falling behind. It means you’re finding a way to work with the season you’re in 💛.

Swipe through 👈🏽 to see the changes I made, and save this post for the days you need the reminder too.

🌟 Have you ever had to adjust your pace, in business, making, or life, to match the season you were in? I would love to hear how it looked for you.

Some days, the biggest thing standing between you and your next step isn’t skill or opportunity, it’s self-doubt.

So many of us have been there.

That little voice that whispers, “Who do you think you are?” or “You’re not ready yet.”

But here’s the truth: you ARE capable.

You’ve already done hard things. You’ve already learned, adapted, and grown more than you give yourself credit for.

This post is your gentle nudge to:

🌟 Believe in yourself
🌟 Be kind to yourself when doubt sets in
🌟 Say your fears out loud so they lose their grip
🌟 Set small, clear goals and take them one step at a time
🌟 Push through those fears!

Fear will come but you get to decide whether it gets to drive.

Crafting funks? Been there lots of times and I still get them now and again. And yep, they used to freak me out 😅.

But over time, I’ve found a few ways to ease out of them without forcing it. Whether it’s giving myself permission not to craft, picking up a forgotten hobby, or just reorganising my stash for a little yarn therapy, it all helps.

This isn’t a to-do list but a reminder that creative slumps are part of the journey 💛,

🧶 Save this post for the next time your mojo disappears

🌟 Slowly but surely getting there with knitting another sample of my Dahlia Halter Top. I shared in my stories a few weeks ago about how I cannot find my original sample (swipe to see) in order for me to take new pics and create fresh content.

Decided to go with different colours 💚 and different yarn too seeing as the one I used for the original sample has been discontinued.

Fun fact about this pattern: I totally went with the flow without a particular “design” per se. Lots of changes along the way and I fell in love with the FO. It is one pattern that I know people have knitted multiple times, which is so so soooo cool 😎 and makes me so chuffed 😍😍😍.

Pattern: Dahlia Halter Top.
Yarn: Aran weight in two colours. I used ’s Billie Jean yarn in raw denim and dirty denim.
