❤️ A warm, personal announcement

A NEW CHAPTER FOR SEW BEAUTIFUL ❤️

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the very difficult decision to close the doors to my Sew Beautiful shop and take on a new full-time career.

This has not been an easy decision. I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built and so grateful to every customer who has trusted me with their clothes, wedding dresses, prom dresses and special occasions over the years. ❤️

Running a business has become more demanding than I ever imagined, and after a lot of thought, I’ve decided that it’s time for a change and to find a better balance in my life.

But don’t worry — I’m not giving up sewing! 🧵

I’ll still be taking on a small number of bridal and alteration jobs in my spare time, from home and by appointment only, depending on my availability.

This means I can continue doing what I love, but without the pressure of running a full-time shop.

It really is the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. ❤️

Thank you to every single person who has supported Sew Beautiful over the last six years. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to new beginnings, a little more balance and hopefully enjoying sewing again! 🥰

“I’m currently working through my workload as quickly as possible. As I have a number of upcoming weddings, I do need to prioritise alterations based on the date they are required for.

A customer had straps put on her dress but didn’t like them. I advised her to shorten the dress as it was a little too long and I would make straps to match her dress.

Customer Announcement

I am now fully booked and am unable to accept any new alteration bookings at this time.

I currently have 15 bridal alterations to complete before the end of September, so my full attention needs to be on my existing clients.

The shop will be closed until 14th August as I am on holiday. I apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
