Our final chapter 🤍
What a ride it has been!
I started E&W in 2014 with an idea to do things a little differently. To make our own rules, carve our own path and build a brand that never really fitted neatly into the traditional bridal mould... and that was always the point.
The bridal industry has changed so much since I first started, and so have I. E&W has grown, evolved, experimented and pushed boundaries alongside me. We’ve had a lot of fun, broken a few rules and most importantly, created a space for those who felt left out of the traditional bridal industry.
I’ve had the absolute pleasure of dressing thousands of humans, working with incredible boutiques and creatives, building collections I’m immensely proud of and watching E&W become something far bigger than I ever imagined when I started it. There has been many highs and many lows, but it’s all part of the parcel running a small business.
It’s been a huge part of my life, and there is so much to be proud of when I look back at everything we’ve created together.
And now, after 12 brilliant years, I’ve made the decision that it’s time to take a different path.
Not because I have stopped loving what I do, but because sometimes you reach the end of a chapter knowing there are new things you want to explore, create and experience.
So, for now, we’re going to enjoy every last bit of this one by doing what we do best.
We will continue with all existing appointments and orders as planned, with final orders being taken directly from E&W until 30th September 2026, and through each of our stockists.
Some pieces will be limited by remaining fabric and availability, so if you’ve been thinking about an E&W dress, there is still time to become part of our final chapter and the legacy of the last 12 years.
On a personal note, I just want to say to every bride, stockist, maker, supplier, creative, co worker and friend who has been part of the E&W story, thank you for coming along for the ride. You have made this chapter of my life something I will be able to look back on with so much pride.
And while this may be the end of E&W, it certainly isn’t the end of creating and designing.
