🥀 Peace & Petals — A Collection With Purpose
Peace & Petals is more than a design. It represents peace, remembrance, growth and hope — and the belief that even through life’s most difficult chapters, something positive can grow. 🌹
On a personal level with family members that have served and are currently still within the RAF and my own brother in the military, this was an important addition to our collection, just in time for Battle of Britain and Remembrance Day.
At Conquest Koi, we are incredibly proud to be supporting Phoenix Heroes CIC, a Community Interest Company based in Colchester dedicated to supporting Armed Forces veterans and their families.
Phoenix Heroes has been highly recommended to us through multiple community groups, and after learning more about the work they do, we knew this was a cause we wanted to stand behind.
Supporting Our Veterans.
🔥Phoenix Heroes creates supportive veteran communities where people can reconnect, find friendship and access help when they need it.
Their work supports veterans and families facing challenges including mental-health difficulties, PTSD, social isolation and the transition from military to civilian life. Through peer support, professional mental-health partnerships, employment assistance, family activities and community projects, they help people rebuild confidence, develop a sense of belonging and move forward.
A particularly special part of their work is their use of outdoor activities and angling.
Phoenix Heroes has developed a growing veteran carp-angling community, giving veterans opportunities to spend time outdoors, meet others with shared experiences and enjoy the calm, focus and companionship that fishing can provide.
It is a cause that feels especially meaningful to us at Conquest Koi.

Phoenix Heroes reports that it has already helped more than 1,500 people, while its small team has contributed over 30,000 voluntary hours since 2018.
