Thom Sweeney was created by Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney. From a young age both Thom and Luke have worked in 'the trade' placing a great importance in learning the craft to develop a fundamental understanding of bespoke tailoring. Initially they each served an apprenticeship under some of the greatest cutters and tailors on Savile Row moving on to quirky east end and tailors, Timothy Everest. Al

ongside this solid grounding in bespoke tailoring the pair set collaborations with British designers Kim Jones and Matthew Williamson, creating the tailoring pieces for their catwalk shows. Thom and Luke's partnership creates a dynamic cocktail, blending a deep knowledge of tailoring with a dash of flair. Ultimately their time spend in 'the trade' was all to create the Thom Sweeney world of bespoke. That of individuality, luxury, style and elegance whilst having a little fun too!

After an incredible chapter in Soho, Sunday 17th May will be our final day trading at 362 West Broadway, our first home in the US.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us there over the years.

From Wednesday 20th May, we’ll be continuing from our temporary pop-up space at 30 Bond Street, offering Bespoke, Made to Measure and our Spring Summer ready to wear collection.

We’re also excited to share that our next New York project is just around the corner. One of the biggest moments in the Thom Sweeney story so far. Watch this space.
