I broke my mirror about a week ago.

I cried. Then I got very sad.

This mirror was big expense that I would have to spend but I trifted it was my neighbours sliding door part. But now is gone

Some people say that's a sign of bad luck.

But one sentence stayed completely intact, and maybe that's the only sign to be kinder to yourself.

If you ever feel like you don't measure up, look in the mirror. You are exactly where you're supposed to be, and you are complete.❤️

Broken glass doesn't define your future.
The message that remains is the one
worth believing.

Thanks to this tragedy I visited Red Cross charity Shop in town and found perfect mirror and new rug so my studio is finally done as I would imagine 🥰

This is a bit of a different side of me—I’ve been practicing my video editing skills and put together a quick 2-minute tutorial on how to take in jeans at the waist when they don't fit quite right.

It took me a whole day to film a job that usually takes me 30 minutes; however, I learned so much

Lovely Isla came to my studio with her mum.

After putting dress on she can barely breathe because her dream dress arrived far too tight.

They left the dress with me, and I figured out I could source fabric from the bottom of the dress by letting out the gathers. It sounded easy, but it involved a lot of juggling!

In the end, I managed to insert two godets on each side—each approximately 5 cm wide—which added an extra 10 cm to the total circumference. 😊

A beautiful Mother of the Bride transformation for a June wedding.

One of my lovely clients came to Tiny Fitting Room for a complete dress alteration, transforming her dress from approximately a UK size 18 to a beautifully fitted size 10/12.

Like many alteration projects, we had a few little challenges along the way as the dress became too tight between fittings. The recent warm weather certainly hasn't helped—heat can make us all feel a little more bloated than usual!

This is a gentle reminder to always give your seamstress a little grace. We all share the same goal: making you look and feel amazing on your special day. ❤️

Every body is different, and our shape naturally fluctuates from week to week. Stress, hormones, medication, hydration, hot weather, or even enjoying a few extra treats can all make a difference. We often live in comfortable, stretchy clothes, so it's only when we put on a structured occasion dress that we notice those small changes.

Nobody has done anything "wrong"—it's simply how real bodies work. That's why fittings are such an important part of the alteration process, ensuring your dress fits beautifully at the right time.

Proof that nobody is perfect — I made this skirt myself! Over the past few months, I’ve gained a little here and there, so the skirt may need to be let out. This is possible only if extra fabric (seam allowance) is available — at least half an inch.

In my studio, I carefully adjust each garment until it fits like a glove — tailored for your comfort and confidence.
