What an incredible end to the week ✨

Only a couple of days ago, I found out I was a finalist for the , Story Award, and tonight we had the absolute pleasure of attending the awards.

I’m SO excited to share that Saraden Designs won the Story Award for Best Product 🏆

To make it even more special, this year also marks 10 years of Saraden Designs 🤍 What a milestone and what a journey it has been. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way — this means the world.

Designer Sarah O’Rourke has been selected to showcase her millinery designs at Ireland Fashion Week 2026 – Irish Edit, following a competitive national application process.

Saraden Designs by Sarah O’Rourke was founded in 2016 and is a slow fashion millinery atelier based in Ashbourne, Co Meath, where each piece is hand-sculpted and created using in-house developed materials.

Rooted in her background in sculpture, the brand explores millinery as wearable art while maintaining a zero-waste, sustainable practice.

From The Late Late Show to the Holy Show tour ✨

A few weeks ago, reached out about collaborating with for their Holy Show tour, and of course I jumped at the chance. Having previously designed pieces for their Show performance, it felt so special to step back into their world again.

After sending over mood boards, I got to work creating bespoke veils, earpieces, and tiaras for the girls—each piece designed to capture their energy, nostalgia, and iconic style.

Seeing these designs come to life on tour has been magic already… and this is only the beginning. I can’t wait to see more 💫

I finally got to wear a look I created for an event that never happened… and honestly, today made it all worth it. There’s something so special about bringing a design to life and giving it its moment 💖

I made the pink satin dress and the coat myself—the coat using fabric I bought while in South Korea two years ago. My headpiece is by my brand Saraden Designs, inspired by Celtic love knots, which I customised using matching fabric, hand-sewn crystals, and feathers for that extra touch ✨

They were paired with heels from and a borrowed bag to complete the look.

Grateful for days like this and for meeting such inspiring people along the way—especially , a true champion of Irish designers 🇮🇪
