Our most important collaboration this year has been the TATREEZ DREAM PROJECT, a collection created with women embroidery artists living and working in Palestine.

We sent offcuts of our fabrics to Palestine, where eight women artists embroidered them with Tatreez symbols connected to nature and the land, thanks to Samar Abdrabbou’s mediation.

You can support the project by choosing a piece on our website, or by making a donation on GoFundMe via the link in bio, independently of purchasing a garment.

Did you know that Coloriage recovers 60% of its production offcuts, compared to an estimated 10% industry average?

Thanks to our artisanal cutting techniques, which allow us to optimize fabric use, and to practices such as textile mosaic, hand embroidery, weaving, and upcycling, even the smallest piece of fabric is given a new life and transformed into something unique - reducing waste and creating a positive impact on the environment.

The union of different fabrics and cultures is at the heart of Coloriage; it’s our way of speaking about diversity, freedom, and peace.

While ultralight tie-dye gauzes from Mali or colorful African wax print fabrics often take center stage in summer drops, in 2026 we recovered an unsold stock of haute couture shirts cottons —gingham, checked, and striped—that allowed us to play with our dual souls.

Our friend and customer Corinna chose a few, and it wasn’t easy to advise her because everything looked so good on her!

In 2025, Coloriage collaborated with the association DONNEXSTRADA. Bianca Hirata and Caterina Fantetti, co-founders of the organization working in Italy to promote women’s freedom in both public and private spaces, became the faces of our Spring/Summer collection drop, wearing some of the iconic pieces made with natural tie-dye and hand-painted textiles produced by Coloriage in Mali.

This campaign, photographed by Giacomo Riccardi, was featured by Vogue Italia among the most beautiful campaign of 2025.

“Being a testimonial for this project means giving a voice to those who often have none, through a language that brings together social commitment, culture, and creativity, says Caterina Fantetti . Or, in Bianca Hirata ‘s words:
“Our collaboration was born from a shared desire: to bring together more and more organizations working in the social field, to create alliances, exchange ideas, build projects together, stay close, and influence one another.”

The Coloriage tie-dye collection is crafted from ultra-lightweight cotton gauze, hand-dyed in Mali by local artisans using natural pigments.

Every fold and every knot is made by hand, making each pattern and every shade impossible to reproduce.

The fabrics are then brought to Italy, where they are hand-cut and sewn by Coloriage refugee and migrant designers and tailors in our social tailoring workshop. Every garment is a celebration of sustainability, craftsmanship, and beauty.

Discover the collection at our flagship store in Trastevere, Rome, or explore it online. For further information or bespoke assistance, we would be delighted to hear from you.
