“We are born of dreams that have crossed oceans and borders.” As immigrants, we carry something sacred. the sacrifices, struggles, and unbreakable will of those who came before us. Our parents and ancestors did not cross oceans and borders so we could forget. They did it so our children would inherit a lighter load. That is our responsibility. That is our purpose. “Indigenous in mind, heart, and spirit. Unshaken by borders. Rooted in resistance. Alive with purpose.” These words are not just poetry. they are a declaration. No wall, no policy, no political agenda can uproot what lives inside us.
They want us divided. They want us suspicious of each other. They want us to believe the lie that immigrants are a burden. when the truth is, immigrants built this world. The roads, the harvests, the hospitals, the music, the food on every table built by immigrant hands, sustained by immigrant spirit. Do not let them rewrite that history. Do not let them poison the next generation with fear and shame about who we are. We are not a problem to be solved. We are a people to be reckoned with. So share your culture unapologetically. Pass down your ancestors’ wisdom. Close the gaps they try to create between us. Stand shoulder to shoulder, indigenous, immigrant, and allied because we have always been, and will always be, stronger together.

When I saw this picture yesterday, one thought consumed me. there is no people on this earth stronger, more resilient, or more devoted to their faith, their land, and each other than the Palestinian people. Our roots don’t just run deep. they are immeasurable. Ancient. Unbreakable. No force, no narrative, no border drawn by outsiders can sever what has been planted over thousands of years. These pictures are not just images. They are evidence. They are testimony. They are truth. It has always been Palestine. It will always be Palestine.

Now we turn to you. Share your family’s migration story. Every journey, every sacrifice, every tear shed and border and ocean crossed deserves to be heard. These stories are not just personal they belong to all of us. They teach us, ground us, and remind us of the extraordinary strength carried in ordinary lives. We know these stories won’t be easy to tell. They may bring up grief, trauma, and loss that still lives in your bones. But they are vital. They are necessary. And we are ready to hold them with the reverence they deserve.
Your story matters. Your family’s story matters. We are listening.

I’m so curious what songs and artists teleport you to the past? The ones that help you relive special moments, bring loved ones back to life and take you straight back to so many of your “firsts.” The songs that teleport you decades into the past. Can’t wait to see your teleportation songs. Music is so powerful and it keeps the past alive. It’s a mood changer. You can go from sad to happy, pumped to nostalgic, crying to clapping to dancing, all within just a few songs.
I also want to thank my friends who are artists, keeping these very moments alive for our children to be teleported to decades from now. Thank you for carrying our emotions through every beat and verse. And thank you to all the musicians and artists who help shift our moods and keep our past alive.

Sometimes we truly don’t understand how blessed our lives are. I know life can feel difficult when you’re dealing with the state of the world, financial stress, politics, wars, negativity, anxiety, and confusion. The list goes on, and many of those feelings are completely valid. But let’s try to find space to say: our lives are great. Our health is good, or getting better, and we are blessed for the lives we have.
That reality really sank in for me recently. I was talking with one of my employees about his mother, who is battling stage four intestinal cancer, stage three breast cancer, and skin cancer. Radiation and chemotherapy aren’t helping, and the doctors can only say it could be a day, a month, or a year.
In the middle of that conversation, my cancer buddy walked in. He had just left his final treatment at the cancer center and wanted to come give me a hug and share the news that he was done. Right there, in that moment, he was able to speak directly to my employee to remind him to stay hopeful and stay positive because he himself had fought stage four cancer and, after several years of battling, had just completed his last treatment.
I know this might sound strange, but getting cancer was a blessing for me. Not only because I caught it early and was able to beat it, but because of the people it connected me with. Over the last seven years, I’ve been able to form a little community of people who are battling cancer or who have survived it. We come together, we hug each other, we pray with each other, we love each other, and we motivate each other. So many come to my workplace to share updates on their treatments and what they’re going through. So I just want to remind everyone: your life is great. You are blessed. Everything is going to be OK. It can always be worse. Always be grateful.

One of the greatest blessings of this brand is having my daughter as my partner, watching a simple conversation turn into something real and getting to share this journey with my parents. You fell in love with them, and honestly, your love for them helped push our brand forward. You loved Mama and Baba. You loved their personalities, their banter. And being able to share this with them is such a gift.
Getting to take Baba to see my brother perform was everything. He laughed the entire show and was so proud of the seats. Thank you to Sammy and so many of my friends for making my dad feel like one of the boys for welcoming my parents, loving them, and looking after them.
If you haven’t seen Sammy perform live, you have to. His videos online are remarkable, but seeing him live is something else. The way he takes hard, raw truths and turns them into comedy. how quick he is, how smooth it’s something special. He brings the most diverse group of people into one room, all ages, all backgrounds, all cultures and religions, and has everyone laughing together. It’s really beautiful.
He’s selling out everywhere. Check if he’s coming to your city and grab your ticket now it will sell out. Take your parents. I love you guys so much.

My brother is currently navigating the thin air of Sagarmatha (Everest), but he isn’t climbing alone.

He carries with him the heavy, beautiful weight of the dreams of Gaza’s children, dreams that have remained alive through thirty months of relentless destruction.

Rising Dreams is on a mission to make those dreams of healing, safety, and standing again come true. In partnership with Al-Khair Foundation, they are providing the critical trauma care and mobility support needed to restore lives on the ground. Mostafa and are doing their part on the mountain now it’s our turn as a global community to meet him there.

How will you join to help the children of Gaza? 🤲

Do you say Warak Enab or Warak Dawali? How do you like yours? Comment below! There’s something so special about walking into your home when Mama’s cooking but stepping onto the veranda back home was the most magical. The plants, a cigarette still burning in the ashtray, coffee half full beside it. The smell of food drifting through the air as you walk in, and Mama and Teta sitting in the kitchen, talking and singing.
Cooking in an Arab or Palestinian household is an art. It’s history. It’s tradition passed down through generations. It’s life itself. And sitting at the table together is the best part of the day. It’s an all-day affair, every single day, and that is exactly what makes our culture so beautiful. Everything is so hands-on. Everything is done with a memory, a story, and so much love.
The food made by our Mamas’ and Tetas’ hands simply tastes better. They pour something powerful and deeply rooted into every dish something that was passed down to them and you can taste the magic and history in every bite. Do you agree?

Woke up to this video and had to repost!!! I love making videos with Baba because he always says the most unexpected things. The most important part of this video is Palestine our home, known by every human on earth. Palestine is part of all of us, whether we’re religious or not. The second most important part is when Baba talks about how Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived together in peace, harmony, and love. Baba said they loved each other until everything was disrupted in 19 48 by the monkeys. Why he used the word ‘monkeys’ will remain a mystery.

This is what the West doesn’t want people to know or see: the history of when it was all Palestine. Muslims, Christians, and Jews were neighbors, sharing tea, coffee, and meals together in each other’s homes. They would gather on the beaches of Gaza, roam freely through Palestine, and then enjoy dinner in the same restaurants and cafés. Life was peaceful, united, and full of harmony.

This is the truth they want to hide, the closeness and unity of Muslims, Christians, and Jews in Palestine. When Palestine is finally returned to us, I promise you, we will see that harmony again. Muslims, Jews and Christians will live together in peace, just like they always have. This is what they don’t want the world to see how we were and how we will be again.
