I don’t even know how to properly start this, so let me just say…
I probably will be talking and posting with myself alone here for now until gradually I will start having guest strangers liking and sharing and commenting on my posts… well until then I will enjoy the ride 💃🏽
So hi…
If you have been seeing me around here lately, posting more, showing more of my work, talking more about fashion and sewing, just know that it is very intentional.
No, I am not starting over… 🤔
At least, I don’t think I am.
I am just trying to get things right this time.
And honestly, without any distractions 🤞🏽
Over time now, I have been sewing, learning, trying, stopping, starting again, making mistakes, figuring things out, losing consistency, finding my way back… and doing it all over again. Omo
There are things I did right.
There are things I completely did wrong.
There are things I wish somebody had told me when I was still learning.
And there are things I only understood after making the mistake myself.
From the days when I learnt how to sew…
To the days when I started making clothes for people…
To the point where I began teaching, creating content and others…
Trying to show up online…
To disappearing sometimes…
To coming back and wondering why I wasn’t where I thought I should be by now…
There is actually a whole story in there, Not the polished version
The lessons.
The things I would do differently.
The things I’m still learning.
The times I wasn’t consistent.
The times I almost gave up on certain things.
So if you keep seeing me here…
Just know that I am here on purpose.
And somewhere along the way, you may learn one or two
