Mason is a high-end footwear label established in 2012 by designer Rendi Aditia. Growing up in the 90’s and seeing his mother and elder brother wearing high-end garments, is the first time that Rendi interacted with upscale brands. Experiencing an indescribable feeling of wearing luxury items as a young kid, Rendi had a dream of building a footwear brand that reflects his own style and personal in
terest. After molding his ideas into designs and finding the right partners for his brand, Rendi started Mason footwear. The name “Mason” is a reference to masonic ideology, meaning being in a circle with productive individuals, who may not be in the same field, but all strive to achieve success. The current Mason team consists of members that come from different backgrounds but share the same vision and together form a creative collective. Our aspirations led us to Italy, origin of the finest footwear on the market. Italy is famous for its fine traditions of craftsmanship, and has been the source of countless unique masterpieces over the centuries. We are proud to say that our products are made in Italy and feel privileged to work closely with the most skilled shoe craftsmen in the world. With a design studio in Amsterdam and manufacturer in Italy, we are determined to deliver the finest footwear possible and build our way into the luxury industry. Mason footwear is constructed using only the finest Italian materials. The leather we use is full-grain calf leather which has been hand picked from the best tanneries Italy has to offer. The upper is based on a cup sole unit from Italian sole manufacturer Margom. In the construction process, the insole and lining are sewn directly into the upper to create a whole. This new and improved technic of shoemaking is called “Sacchetto”. The inner shoe of a Sacchetto is like a moccasin made of lining leather. It covers the foot like a glove and it is worked into the leather upper to create a lightweight and flexible work of art. Mason Garments footwear is comfortable, high quality, and elegant.
