European paintings, particularly Dutch ones, have been our greatest source of historical reference for creating the 1680s fashion pack in Historical Fashion Dress Up.

This painting, painted by Cornelis Bisschop in 1667, shows a woman peeling an apple, but also all her different colored skirts and loose sleeves! This painting can be found on Rijksmuseum 's website!
