🌸 Hello Spring... and a little more kindness

Spring is my favourite season! I love the colour, the vibrance, the longer days and, of course, the warmer weather.

And today is extra special because it’s also Random Acts of Kindness Day here in New Zealand. ❤️

Did you know New Zealand started our national RAK Day in 2005 and we’re still the only country with an official national day dedicated to random acts of kindness?

The idea is simple, to lift the kindness temperature across our communities, schools, and businesses.

So today, why not do one little thing that might make someone else’s day a bit brighter?

Buy someone a coffee.
Give a genuine compliment.
Check in on someone.
Or simply smile and be a little more generous with your kindness.

Because we never really know what someone else is carrying and a small act of kindness can mean more than we realise.

Teamwork really does make the dream work ❤️

A little thank you to these two wonderful women, Casey and Fay, who have been working so hard behind the scenes this week.

With new stock arriving tomorrow, there was plenty to do: moving stock, reorganising and making space. They have absolutely got stuck in and got the job done!

I’m so grateful for the teamwork, the hard work and the willingness to just get on with whatever needs doing.

Thank you, ladies. You’re amazing!

👠 What was your worst shoe disaster? 👠

We’ve all had a wardrobe moment we’d rather forget… but this one still makes us laugh!

A friend of ours was running late one morning and, in her hurry, grabbed what she thought was a pair of shoes and headed out the door.

She was halfway up Broadway when she started thinking…

“Why do these shoes feel so strange?” 🤔

She looked down.

Yep.

Two completely different shoes.

And, just to make things interesting, they were two different heel heights! 😂

There was really only one thing to do…

Buy a new pair of shoes.

A disaster? Perhaps.

An opportunity to find a fabulous new pair? Absolutely! 😉

Now we want to know…
