🐴💙 What an incredible week at NISS! 💙🐴

As we head into the final day of the North Island Secondary Schools Competition tomorrow, we just wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported teQ this week.

From our loyal customers to the new faces we’ve met along the way, we’ve loved every minute of being here. Whether you stopped by to shop, browse, ask questions, or simply pop in for a chat and a cup of tea, we truly appreciate every single one of you. ☕🫶

This has been our first NISS, and what an experience it’s been! We’ve loved watching the competition, meeting so many passionate riders, and being part of such an amazing event.

Tomorrow is the final day, and we can’t wait to see the last classes, final results, and celebrate all the hard work that’s gone into getting here. Best of luck to everyone competing. Ride well, enjoy the moment, and be proud of what you’ve achieved this week. 🍀🐎

🐴💙 What a day at NISS! 💙🐴

Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the stand today. Whether you made a purchase, came to browse, had a chat, or just popped in to say hello, we truly appreciate all the support! 🫶

It’s safe to say today was a little... windy 🌬️😅
Our products were literally flying off the shelves... thanks to the Taupō wind. If you saw us chasing display items across the grounds, no you didn’t. 😂

And can we talk about the dust? 💨

We’ve had a few requests for respirator masks today, which honestly seems fair given the conditions... Unfortunately, that’s where we have to disappoint you. 🤣 We’re your go-to for equestrian apparel and bargains, but respirators aren’t quite our specialty!

🐴💙 Taupō, we’re on our way! 💙🐴

teQ2 will be hitting the road at lunchtime today and making our way to the North Island Secondary Schools Equestrian Competition in Taupō!

If you have any last-minute requests, products you’d like us to bring, or orders you’d like us to pack, please let us know before lunchtime. We don’t want anyone missing out! 👇

We’ll be aiming to arrive around 4pm, so if you’ve placed a pick-up order, come and see us from 4pm onwards to collect it.

The amazing Edward Ewbank💕💕💕. I remember when he told me he would go to Olympics!! Could he be the first rider I’ve worked with to make it to the games, I KNOW so!!!

Who is Edward Ewbank - currently competing for NZL on the USA CDI 3* Circuit in the USA ?

From Jumping to Eventing and now Dressage is his passion

Edward began his riding career in the show jumping world, competing in his first Grand Prix at 15. Three years later he completed his first Advanced horse trials with the same horse, Habbakuk Clannad. Since then he has competed through the Advanced and CCI*** levels. He has trained under Heelan Tompkins, Penny Castle, and Lynn Whiting in New Zealand. His riding brought him to Clifton Eventers, one of the most well known producers of talented New Zealand eventing horses. There he trained with Jonathon Paget, as well as training and competing numerous Clifton horses. Edward moved to the US in 2012 to pursue better riding opportunites in the future. After taking a year and a half to foxhunt and adjust to life in America, he began actively competing again in 2014.

"When I moved to the USA as an eventer in 2012, my weakest link was dressage. After winning the Virginia 3-Day Event in 2018 with my mare Sushi, I retired from eventing and entered the dressage arena full-time.
In 2023, I conquered my first Grand Prix on my former event horse. Fast-forward to 2026, and I’m riding her little sister, Damsel BFF, down the centerline at my first CDIs—and loving every minute of it.
Since I was 12 years old, I’ve dreamed of competing in the Olympics. Now, with my dance partner Damsel by my side and my incredible team behind us, we’re going to give it everything we’ve got to make LA 2028! "
