Fall Flavors and Fine W**e: Ab Astris Hosts Second Annual Sip & Smoke
Fall has arrived, deer season is upon us, and the rich colors of autumn are all around us. Across the Texas Hill Country, fall festivals are in full swing, and Ab Astris W**ery recently hosted its second annual Sip & Smoke event.
Held Sunday at Ab Astris Vineyard in Stonewall, the event brought together exceptional Texas w**es and chef-inspired culinary creations in a beautiful Hill Country setting. The estate features picturesque vineyards, a modern architectural tasting room, and a lovely patio overlooking the property — the perfect backdrop for an afternoon celebrating Texas w**e and food.
This year’s event showcased w**es from Adega Vinho W**ery, Ron Yates W**ery, Dell Valley Vineyards, Lost Draw Vineyards, and Ab Astris Vineyards, offering guests an opportunity to experience a variety of w**es from across the region.
The culinary experience was equally impressive, featuring eight chef-inspired creations from Smoke Point, El Quincho, Crossover Culinary, Eaker, Hill & Vine, Junebugs, How Many Grams, and Local Bull. The combination of outstanding w**es, creative cuisine, and the beauty of the vineyard made for a memorable celebration of the Texas Hill Country’s vibrant food and w**e scene.
