I made this man chuckle today as I was walking out of the store. I was saying, in a pretty high-pitched voice, ‘Awwww, it’s so pretty!’ while admiring the shop and our new planters, beautifully planted by our wonderful neighbor Patrick. I love this store and the five years we’ve had here. I’m going to miss it so much. I feel incredibly proud of what it’s become. My bb store turned 5 on June 3rd!

CRAZY NEWS… after 16 years in New York and over a decade of slinging vintage here, I’m officially moving back to London.

Honestly, I can’t quite believe I’m typing this. New York completely changed my life. So many of my biggest memories, friendships, opportunities, hardships, risks and proudest moments happened here… and somehow vintage became such a huge part of it all.

From markets to owning multiple stores, this whole journey has been beyond anything I ever imagined for myself.

Don’t forget about me New York and everything we’ve created together over the years.

My business partner Laura will continue managing our Brooklyn location and our dearest Rachel will be managing Hudson, so Proprietors isn’t going anywhere… but look at this as me heading off to open an unofficial third location in London that you’ll all have to come visit someday.

I’ll miss my vintage fam here more than you know. To all the customers, customers turned very good friends, vendors, vendors turned very good friends and people who have supported me over the years, thank you for being part of this wild journey of mine. And don’t worry… I fully plan on sourcing all over Europe so you can all continue shopping with me from afar.

Sad to write this, but you can catch my last two days working Brooklyn on June 6th and 7th, and my very last day working the Hudson shop will be Friday May 29th. I will have prosecco on hand (duh) and crazy deals. Love you guys ✌🏻
