Guess what?! There are only 66 days until 2027!

If you're a bride getting married in 2027, there is no better time than right now to find your seamstress and get on their schedule, especially if you want to work with me. 😍

I recommend starting bridal alterations about 12 weeks before your wedding, which means spring brides should be planning ahead now. My spring schedule is already filling up, and I want to make sure you have the time and space for the relaxed, personalized alterations experience I strive to provide every bride.

✨ OUT OF OFFICE: OCTOBER 16–27 ✨

I'm so excited to spend time with a bunch of brilliant bridal seamstresses at the fall retreat!

I attended my first retreat in 2025 and it was business-changing. I came home with new ideas, new skills and so much excitement for the work I get to do. I'm so excited to see what this year's retreat brings!

Continuing to learn, investing in my skills and connecting with other bridal seamstresses is important to me. The more I learn, the more I grow—and the better I can serve my brides.

But there's another important part of this trip: taking a break.

I believe we all need time to step away from work, recharge and enjoy living. This is my time to do just that!

This means I will not be responding to messages or inquiries while I'm away. I'll get back to you after I return on October 28.

There are few things I love more than seeing my brides happy on their wedding days… except maybe getting the reviews afterward.

Lily was such a delight to work with from start to finish. Getting to see her looking this gorgeous on her wedding day makes me *so* happy!

One of my favorite parts of her alterations process was actually figuring out her hem. We weren't sure at first if she wanted to shorten the dress, so instead of rushing into a decision, Lily did some trial walks, tested out different heel heights and ultimately decided that yes, a hem was the right choice for her.

And that's what I'm here for! Sometimes you know exactly what you want and sometimes you need to try a few things, ask questions, walk around in your dress and figure it out along the way. I'm happy to be part of that process with you.

Lily, thank you for trusting me with your dress, for being a joy to work with and for leaving a kind review. I love what I do and getting to work with wonderful brides like you is a huge part of why. 💙

I am fully booked for 2026 event dates!

I cannot express enough gratitude and awe for the support of all my clients (past, present and future), the bridal stores that refer to me and everyone else who has followed, shared, reviewed and referred my business.

Now for the logistics -
1. If your event date is in 2026 and you're already on my schedule - you're all set and I'm so excited to work with you!

2. If your event date is in 2026 and you're reaching out to inquire now - I'm so sorry I won't get to work with you. Please save yourself some time and do not fill out the inquiry form "just in case". I totally understand the urge to do this, but I will have to tell you no.

3. If your event is next year 2027 and you've picked out your dress - OMG YES fill out the inquiry form! Booking wedding dress alterations is absolutely a situation where doing things early is best.

All sorts of wonderful work and to keep a little mystery I'm not going to tell you. ;) Just know I worked my magic and she looks beautiful on her wedding day.

It's been a while since I showed a before & after and this one is a great example!

This bride's dress fit her great through the hips and waist but the bust was far too large. This is quite a common issue when it comes to dress sizing as our bodies don't tend to match the designer's model body profile, which is where alterations come in for the win!

If your dress comes in and looks like this, here's what you need to know:
1. Don't panic! If you've got a good bridal seamstress booked, they'll know how to get your dress fitting beautifully.
2. Be prepared to have multiple fittings. Trust the process!
3. Be realistic with your alterations budget. Not everyone can do this type of work so be prepared to pay for the skill level this requires.

Reminder - I am booking 2027 brides and right now all months are still open!

For 2026, my schedule is fully booked for all brides and I am no longer accepting wedding dress alterations for 2026 weddings.

Working with Kayla on her wedding dress was such a blast for so many reasons!

✨ We went to high school together, so it was fun catching up.

✨ She had a vision for her dress that included one of my favorite things... pockets! (Because who doesn't love a wedding dress with pockets?)

✨ And the sweetest bonus? I got to meet her daughter and alter her dress too. Seeing them dressed up together was such a special part of the experience.

One of my favorite parts of this job is that every bride brings something different to the fitting room.

When Alyssa first reached out, she had a unique request. A coworker's bad wedding dress alterations experience somewhere else had understandably left her feeling nervous. So, she wanted to start the alterations process earlier than I typically recommend.
