Of course we’re fans of the players we watch every Sunday, but one of the things we hope with these little interviews is that we are reminded that there’s a whole lot of life that happens when it’s not gameday.

For us becoming fans of the Detroit Lions also means we’ve become fans of their families.

It was so special getting to meet Brooklyn Adams at the market on Friday and hear a little bit about her life, her relationship with Amon-Ra St. Brown, and the person she is outside of the football world we usually see.

We are so thankful she was willing to spend a little bit of time with Alice and Emmy, and give us a little glimpse into that part of her life. 💙

On Friday at the Sundays are for Detroit special event, Alice and Emmy grabbed a microphone and found a few different powerful women to interview.

It was so special to watch them have the courage to ask for the interview and even more special to have some amazing women share about their lives.

We started this little business with absolutely no idea that it would lead to moments like this. First up, Taylor Girard from PWHL Detroit . 💙

The past few days have been filled with so many new friends. Some we finally got to meet in person, others we’ve gotten to know over the past few months, and some of you are just joining along.

So, if you’re new here, a couple things:

When you say Co x Lab, leave out the x. It’s an important mark of collaboration (or, for us, family), but you don’t need to pronounce it. 😅

And more importantly: welcome to our family.

We’re really glad you found us, and really grateful that you get to be a little part of our family’s story. 💙

Yesterday, the Sundays are for Detroit market by See You Sunday was so special.

It’s actually hard to put in to words how incredible it was. From getting to know so many amazing female business owners to meeting Holly Campbell to seeing people show up in our designs and sharing our story with their friends to knowing that our girls were in a room with so many awesome, supportive women, creative, powerhouse women and feeling like they belong there with these women. It was so huge for me as a mother.

My girls feel supported and that they have the confidence to pursue their big dreams and have so many women to look up to. The kindness (and sometimes patience—breaking a hundred is a lot of pressure in the moment 😅) and love that was shown to Alice and Emmy this weekend was incredible.

Being on Local 4 News Detroit and having Priya Mann gush over Alice’s Pretty and Gritty and then immediately texting Amaya to buy it was hilarious and amazing.

So thank you to everyone who came out and shopped yesterday, encouraged us, came by to introduce themselves and connect, and for cheering us on. We appreciate each and every one of you 🖤🖤🖤

Hi friends, jessica grunewald here. Take a seat and let me tell you about my best friend Michigan Wedding and Bo***ir Photographer.

Yes, Molly is actually RJ’s sister but I like to pretend she’s mine since I’ve known her since she was in middle school. She’s not just the person I lean on for silly everyday dilemmas like “am I too old for this outfit?” or to go along with my introverted self to events so I actually talk to people.

But we can also ask her business questions all the time and she never hesitates to give us thoughtful answers and suggestions. She encourages us to set big goals and cheers us on every step of the way.

If you know Molly, you know how incredible she really is.
The auntie she is to my kids, and the absolute powerhouse of a role model she is to my girls makes me a little weepy. 🥹

Knowing that they have her to look up to and cheer them on and give them the confidence that they are developing is so huge for me as a mother. She invests her time in relationships with my girls (and Eli) and that in itself is valuable beyond words.

So here’s a little interview with Alice and Emmy and their favorite, Moll. 💙🖤💙

PS-we need to brainstorm a name for their little women entrepreneur interviews…any thoughts?
