When designing this space, I wanted it to feel like a 360° work of art — every corner intentional, every texture layered, every light softened to create a mood that invited people to slow down.

Restful. Grounding. Vibe-y in the best way.

In an industry that constantly asks for more, this design became a reminder that beauty can also be quiet. That not every moment has to perform. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is hit reset. Recalibrate. Step back long enough to reconnect with yourself outside of the deadlines, the emails, the expectations.

Work-life balance isn’t always about doing less — sometimes it’s about designing a life and environment that lets you breathe differently.

From sun-drenched coastlines to tucked-away villas, a destination setting becomes part of the story—layering in texture, mood, and a sense of transport for every guest. Lately, I’ve been especially inspired by places like Villa del Toro—where European charm meets California light, and every corner feels like it was made for celebration.
The magic of destination events isn’t just the view (though it certainly helps). It’s the intention behind gathering somewhere meaningful, immersive, and a little unexpected.

And lately for me, that’s meant challenging myself to be uncomfortable.

Hitting record on the behind-the-scenes video instead of overthinking it.

Listening back to my audio—strong southern drawl and all—and choosing to be proud of it.

Learning something new without needing to be perfect at it.

Admitting I don’t always have the answer… and being okay with that.

Looking at past mistakes and skeletons and letting it all go. Growth doesn’t live in comfort. It lives in the stretch, the willingness to show up anyway.

We are flashing back this Friday to Hannah & Alex’s relaxed rehearsal dinner. Tucked into the heart of the Stockyards, the evening unfolded at the iconic Hotel Drover—where western charm met an effortlessly cool, laid-back celebration.

This rehearsal dinner wasn’t about formality—it was about feeling. A casual, western-inspired gathering that welcomed guests with warm open air, and that unmistakable Fort Worth energy.

Guests kicked things off with cocktails served from a vintage horse trailer bar—equal parts statement piece and conversation starter. Boots replaced heels, denim met flowing dresses, and the atmosphere felt like a perfect exhale before the big day.

Seventeen guests, a tucked-away 1900s estate, and a love that didn’t need anything more than presence. The ceremony unfolded in stillness—soft light through aged windows, whispered vows, and the kind of intimacy you can feel in your chest.

Dinner followed like a scene from another era—a long table, layered textures, candlelit conversations, and time slowing down just enough to savor every moment. No rush, no spectacle… just intention, connection, and beauty in its most honest form.
