Drawing inspiration from the Frank Lloyd Wright-Rosenbaum house: the Archive Stripe Treme Shirt.

The custom panels featured in this Florence, AL home are one of the first things your eye goes to, and naturally we were inspired by the shape and light it evokes.

To the Reids, Jambalaya isn’t just a seasonal dish - it’s a year round family favorite.

From eating his grandmother’s rendition around the supper table in Amite, Louisiana to making it with Jeanne for football games or family get-togethers, the dish will always be what he considers a staple.

Billy’s take is pretty simple, but he encourages you to add whatever your heart desires: Andouille sausage, pork, the works.

RECIPE —

Chicken, Sausage & Ground Pork Jambalaya

Adapted from Emeril Lagasse’s Louisiana Real & Rustic

Servings: 10–12
Equipment: Large cast-iron Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pot
Ingredients:

- 1 whole chicken, deboned, meat cut into 1-inch pieces

- ½ lb ground pork

- 1 lb andouille or smoked sausage (whichever you prefer), sliced ¼-inch thick

- 3 cups chopped onions

- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper

- 1 cup chopped celery

- 3 cups uncooked medium-grain white rice

- 6 cups water or chicken broth

- ½ cup vegetable oil (adjust according to fat rendered from pork and sausage)

- 3 teaspoons salt, adjusted to taste

- 1¼ teaspoons cayenne pepper

- 3 bay leaves

- 1 cup chopped green onions

Drawing inspiration from a vintage shearling layer from the archive, we viewed this garment as the perfect opportunity to name it after our associate art director, Jacob Fulton.

Born and raised in Chicago, Jacob knows a thing or two about a good winter layer that shows up exactly when you need it most. Beginning his career with us as a shop associate in our West Loop location, he recalls staying warm while walking through feet of snow with only this jacket + a t-shirt.

Lamb fur merino lines the collar and interior, while hosting antique brass hardware, two waist patch pockets that pair well with the additional side welt entries, and our heirloom ribbon stripe lining the sleeves with filler for additional warmth.

An inside look at our third location of Fall ‘26: the Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum House.

Built in 1940 and nestled right in the heart of Florence, this is the only building designed by Wright in the state of Alabama. We feel inspired by the home in so many ways, both in this season’s collection and in our approach to design.

It’s officially ShoalsFest week. A new traditition of ours is hosting a Bloody Mary Morning bar (yes, you know that song) to celebrate the weekend and all the exciting energy that’s pulsing through the Shoals these next few days.

Billy’s a big Bloody Mary fan - not to mention an even bigger Willie Nelson fan, so this feels incredibly necessary. Check out the full recipe, pulled from our friends and next-door neighbors at Odette [ odette 💜 florence, al ] in the caption below.

RECIPE —

96 oz canned fire roasted tomatoes

4 oz olive juice

6 oz Worcestershire sauce

2 oz soy sauce

2 oz balsamic vinegar

2 Tbsp salt and pepper

4 Tbsp celery seed

3 Tbsp sriracha

6 cloves roasted garlic
