Georges Briard had a handful of patterns influenced by Europe. They share a similar color palette of vibrant cool-toned colors. One of those patterns is Art Nouveau. The sinuous 22k gold lines of Art Nouveau are joined together by vibrant free-flowing shapes creating one fluid composition. Something notable about this particular set is the pattern name has been printed on each glass next to the signature. My guess is this set was a special edition therefore a limited number of sets were produced.

Striking azure blue and bright chartreuse, make these glasses just mesmerizing. Production of this design started in the late 50s and continued through the 60s. Briard designed multiple patterns during this period that achieved captivating blues, greens, 22k gold and sometimes purple. These eventually became some of his most desired glassware patterns and are still highly collectable today. We have a set of six Spiral glasses available in the Etsy shop.

In 1957 buyers at the N.Y. China and Glass Show honored Psyche of Park Avenue Manufacturing Co. by selecting her delicatly designed "Fantasy" glassware as the most outstanding drinkware at the entire show! The award was based on creativness of design, technique, quality, and stability. Illustrating butterflies in translucent turquoise, textured white clouds, and touched with 22k gold. Fantasy is a Psyche original that is very difficult to come by. To learn more, check out this set of six available in the shop.
