I want to be a Fashion Designer when I grow up. I started this page so I can start showing people my original sketch designs that I am already designing. I love fashion, designing, and sewing. I started sewing last summer and am going to learn more sewing this summer, which is an important skill I think all Fashion Designers need to have. I am still working on learning how to draw body pa
rts, so look mainly at the dresses! Other activities I enjoy included swimming for fun and exercise, and participating in musical theater - I am currently participating in my fifth musical - Beauty and the Beast - at RCT Theater in Richardson, TX. Iove singing, acting, and dancing. I also love dressing up my dolls and sewing clothes for them. I also like to make scrapbooks of all my favorite things that inspire me fashion and style wise - this is something I do with my Mom - she has a book too - although I think hers is more of a wish list! When I go to college I want to go to one that specializes in Fashion Design because I know that I want to be a Fashion Designer. I am also dying to go to Paris because I am in love with everything Paris! My parents said maybe they would take me when I graduate high school - I won't let them forget they said that! Another part of my story is that when I was 20 months old I had heart failure and was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy (thank you Mom for spelling that!). By the time I was 2 I needed a life-saving heart transplant to survive. That was 9 years ago and I am a survivor, and though my life is a bit different with all the doctor appointments, biopsies,and medications, I still have big dreams, and that dream is to be a famous Fashion Designer and to go to Paris!
