Our sunglasses are all 100% polarized, block 100% UVA/B/C and are made with super flexible grilamid (TR-90) frames that you can bend almost in half without breaking. The lenses are made of scratch resistant tri-acetate and is seriously one of the clearest and sharpest lenses out there.

It’s easy to find yourself giving all of your attention to the “main attraction” when visiting landmarks, but there’s a vast amount of beauty and interest to be discovered in the smaller surrounding “support cast” that help create the larger environment that are well worth shifting your focus to.

Backcountry dirt roads aren’t for everyone, but for those looking to lean into a more remote experience and a chance to escape crowds, Cottonwood Canyon Road in Southern Utah is a gem 💎 to explore.

The unpaved, scenic road is essentially a shortcut 🚗 between Highway 12 (near Cannonville) and U.S. Route 89 (near Big Water) that meanders through the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument where you’ll find a multitude of beautiful pit stops waiting to be discovered. Kodachrome Basin State Park, Yellow Rock, Grosvenor Arch, and Cottonwood Narrows are some of the key highlights ✨ you won’t want to miss.

Please be aware high-clearance vehicles (as well as 4WD) are best for tackling this area and there are no service facilities on the route. Cell towers should not be relied on and bringing along extra food, water, a free permit for camping, and emergency supplies is highly recommended.

ADVENTURE IDEA 🤔💡
If you’ve never visited Southern Utah, this is your nudge to add the area to your vacation bucket list because it has sooooo many gems 💎 that will make you fall in love.

Road trips 🚘 are a stellar way to begin exploring the region and Scenic Byway 12 🛣️ carries the prestigious title of All-American Road, which is reserved for routes that have unique features found nowhere else.

The drive itself connects two National Parks, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, through a National Monument, Grand Staircase-Escalante, so you know it has a ton to offer visually. Winding through both desert and mountainous landscapes, the elevation changes are dramatic and jaw-dropping.

Hogback Ridge, which is a narrow, 4-mile stretch of paved road surrounded by steep slickrock with zero guardrails, provides sweeping views of Calf Creek Canyon and a turnout at the top of the ridge allows you to hop out of your vehicle to fully take in the landscape while snapping a few photos 📷 of the majestic area.
