Protesters are nothing new to Fashion Week, a longstanding clash between fashion and animal rights, especially when it comes to PETA protests.

But instead of leaving it to security to remove the protesters, CFDA CEO Steven Kolb took matters into his own hands. Video shows Kolb physically assaulting the protesters, pulling one to the ground, covering her mouth with his hands, and wrapping his arms and leg around her as onlookers continued watching the show.

Kolb has since apologized and been placed on leave. No police report has been filed.

Rest in peace Bob Mackie, legendary designer and costumer who made the world sparkle.

Mackie dressed icons including Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, and Elton John, and was also known for his decades-long collaboration with Cher.

His glittering, naked dresses became synonymous with pop culture. One of his most unforgettable looks was Cher's 1986 Oscars gown and feathered headpiece.

Mackie also sketched Marilyn Monroe's historic 'Happy Birthday, Mr. President' dress while assisting designer Jean Louis, who completed the final gown.

Bob Mackie died September 14, 2026, at age 87.
