The Juniper Tree is a black and white arthouse fantasy steeped in magic, misogyny, and survival in medieval Iceland.

Margit, played by Björk, is the daughter of an accused witch and the younger sister of Katla, whose choices set the dark fairy tale into motion.

The film offers an early glimpse of Björk’s magnetism, most hauntingly in a spellbinding song.

Directed by Nietzchka Keene and adapted from a Brothers Grimm tale, it premiered at Sundance in 1990.

Call it Dior Noir.

Jonathan Anderson unveiled his first cruise collection for Dior last night at Los Angeles’ LACMA, transforming the David Geffen Galleries into a cinematic tableau.

Vintage cars were stationed like relics from a studio backlot, bathed in moody, film noir lighting. It was less a traditional show and more a scene, a deliberate nod to Old Hollywood and the enduring romance between movie royalty and Dior. The house has long dressed the silver screen’s elite, a legacy Anderson leaned into.

The collection itself felt like a conversation between eras. Dropped waists gave silhouettes a languid, almost 1930s ease. Tweeds arrived sharp and self possessed, while satin pieces slipped through the lineup with liquid glamour. The California poppy appeared throughout, with denim woven into the mix.

A collaboration with artist Ed Ruscha added a distinctly Los Angeles inflection, grounding the European heritage of Dior in West Coast cultural vernacular, a dialogue between Parisian couture and LA’s intellectual cool.

Bad Bunny single-handedly saved the 2026 Met Gala.

In a sea of forgettable looks, Benito came correct.

Is he making a statement?

Natasha Lyonne jumped from the TIME100 Gala red carpet in NY to the USC Visions and Voices interview in LA.

cracked the room up with her jokes and theories of UFOs. But our key takeaways were:

1. Her Y2K style - matchy-matchy bag-boots-blouson, "Nora Ephron meets Lou Reed in black leather at Sant Ambroeus".

2. Her straight-promoted bag from the South Korean brand OSOI, that caused quite the commotion when asked about.

We can't stop thinking about these barely there Chanel sandals.

No, this wasn't a last minute adjustment. Matthieu Blazy sent these sandals down the runway with intention, and a lot of sole.

Would you wear these?

This Earth Day, we’re celebrating the designers redefining waste.

Issey Miyake - Instead of discarding unused material, the fashion house compressed layers of thin pleating paper into tightly packed “paper logs”.

Using the same technique as its signature pleating process, where sheets are placed between pre-cut garments and heat-pressed to create their iconic sculptural silhouettes.

Carved and shaped by hand, the furniture reveal marbled patterns formed by the randomness of the layered sheets, making each piece entirely unique.

First presented during Milan Design Week, the works are now on view at the Issey Miyake Milan store as part of The Paper Log: Shell and Core exhibition.

Bottega Veneta - Recycled fiberglass, *the* material used under Louise Trotter, made its second appearance on the Bottega Veneta runway in February 2026, moving fluidly as light reflected off it.

At first glance, it resembled bright furs, but thanks to this design innovation, no animals were harmed and a challenging material was successfully recycled.

Chopova Lowena is one of the shows we look forward to most during London Fashion Week.

These are pieces that scream and the message is worth listening to.

It’s a collision of wonderland and grunge, crafted from recycled materials and deadstock fabrics.

It was such a pleasure seeing Anna Sui at the ASU FIDM Museum last week where she discussed her new book. "The Nineties x Anna Sui" and the “Obsessed” exhibition celebrating 90s fashion.

We loved how candid she was about the challenges young fashion students face today, especially in contrast to her grunge-era years alongside friends like Marc Jacobs and Steven Meisel.

She still champions fearless creativity and we love her for that.

Don’t miss the 90s fashion exhibition at the FIDM Museum and buy her new book!
