Ye Ole Arts N Crap Fantasy Faire thrown by The Thrift Shop was such an happening! The shop folk really made the most extraordinary event of the year!!! Community centered around the THRIFT must be the best ever!! This collection of Artists and musicians, dreamers and weirdies is literally MAGIC!! Love in the times of Techno Feudalism!!!!! 💛🧡🩷OMG I left all our banners at home and my phone died 1/2 through but it was a perfect way to end this Fall’s stretch of out door vending! All my favorite people were there, all the costumes everyone made were fantastic, the Fantasy Fair was an happening I’ll always hold dear!!! I love all of you so much!!! Happy happy Fall to all my vender family, the coolest kids in town, and everyone who showed up!!!!!! Love you Wizards!!!!

I love when everything lines up!! My 2nd Whimsical Dress ( pattern by ) is just the most magical! I got a table cloth from and then found a second one that week at my local thrift! That meant I had enough to make myself this dress!!!! And had enough to make a hat!!! Happy Favorite Season to all my best Witches!!

Vulture Fest!!!! Perfect weather my dear friends! It was so good to see my favorite people in my favorite place! Our little artist haven of Makanda opens its doors and hosts the very best party and gathering of dreamers, musicians, and makers!!! Thanks for the best one yet!!

Fall is my favorite!! This weekend is sure to be the best time!! Sunny and crisp!!!! Venture down to Makanda to see live music, live vultures and only the best handmade products by local artisans!! Kyla Yates has a wonderfully fun waistband on her Star Skirt sewing pattern!! There’s elastic, tabs, ties and a smooth part for the middle (which I think helps show off the all Star patchwork in the center!). All done up neatly with bias tape around the inside. ⭐️⭐️Here’s me just doing the first part lol! I did put tabs on but choose not to do ties just yet. (omg, am I putting a bodice on this thing? For a star dress?!).

Say hello to the Star Skirt by Kyla Yates! ⭐️🩷🌟 Launching TODAY! Wonderfully size inclusive with detailed instructions. It was a joy to pattern test this magical skirt! One of my favorite parts is all the point matching! If like me, you’ve spent your life adding triangle panels to make bell bottoms, it’s construction will be a breeze! There’s a A LOT of math Kyla has done here providing you with three different fullness views each with three different lengths!!! 🩷🧡💛💚🩵 skirt deets: I made a size M, view C length 1, lol I’m 61” and the midi is practically full length on me😊. I used this gorgeous vintage quilting cotton! The ombré rainbow does IT for me!! I love working with indie designers and it’s also fantastic to test something this Great!
