Happy Sapphic September!!

My feed is filled with so many fantastic recs which will undoubtedly make me super broke by month’s end!

Here are just 5 of my favorites that I think you’d enjoy if you’re looking to also go broke this month.

These are all 5 star reads for me!!

1. Such a weird book. Read it in two days.

2. The first LGBTQ book I ever read. Absolutely adorable.

3. Newest read! Shoutout to Sayer for recommending this one to me! SO HOT!

4. I know y’all are sick of me talking about this one. Le***an Bridgerton. So.much.yearning.

5. Gender bent Hades & Persephone. Need I say more?

🎉BOOK CLUB ALERT🎉

Let’s get down to business friends. Join me starting Oct. 14 for a weekly book club centered on Native American History and setting some mess straight!  We are going to be discussing renowned comedian, Joey Clift’s new book, “We’ve Been Here the Whole Time!”  This is a hilarious illustrated Native American History book, perfect for the entire family! (YMMV cause I’m a menace of a mother but I am definitely reading this with my kids already!)  To sign up you just have to be a member of my Patreon. We will meet there on a live, weekly.  You don’t have to be a paid member, but your contributions do help me continue this work!  Joey and I are going to be hanging out HERE on IG live to talk about his book and the book club on September 10th, at 7pm so PLEASE come hang out with us!

I’ve been updating a lot in the shop lately and I thought I’d share just a few of the romance books we’ve added!

I’m so late on this! But since I’ve been dealing with a lot of burnout when it comes to content creation, I definitely wanted to do this fun little trend.

Not gonna lie, this mess was HARD. Especially books and music!

My music tastes are wrapped around metalcore and rock in general…but do not be fooled, dear friends.

Even when I’m decked out in my black lipstick, Doc Martens, and leather corsets…there’s still a huge chance I’m listening to 80/90s divas like Mariah, millennial hip hop, or 90s/2000s pop.

Nostalgia gets me HARD with music!

As far as book…ugghhh. You can’t force me to narrow it down like this!!!!!

I connected to this books in ways that were uncomfortable.

It very easily brought up who I used to be and there’s still a lot of grief there.

So writing this blog post is just another step in my healing. I’m choosing vulnerability and activating my RSD in the hopes this will help someone else.

Today is my 18th wedding anniversary!! So in celebration I wanted to share some romance books that are on my TBR!

1. I met at BookCon and she is the SWEETEST human ever. So of course I bought all three of her books! I haven’t read a sports romance yet so I’m excited!

2. .laborn knows how I am trash for mafia dark romance. So he recommended this one for me!! I cannot wait!

3. Y’all know this one is a not brainer because of how much I STILL talk about Sangu Mandanna’s The Secret Society of Irregular Witches!!!

4. I’m not gonna lie. This cover sucked me in. Enemies to lovers? Close proximity? Yes and yes.

5. You’d have to be living under a rock to not know about this book! I wanna read it not just because of the hype and the amazing publishing story. The premise does intrigue me!!

The most wonderful day of the year for book nerds! This is a time to celebrate indie bookstores in a myriad of ways!!!

Truth is our industry is HURTING. With the likes of the Zon, tariffs, book bans, cost of living…we are struggling, y’all.
