🌈🎉- And she didn’t let the rainbow end! 🌈💖 Elaina Sabado has completed her beautiful “I’ve Got Hue, Babe” project for our summer challenge using the Under the Rainbow and Pitch Dark color stories—and that checker border is the perfect finishing touch! 🖤✨

Elaina had this to say about her experience working with this collection:

"I had a ton of sewing fun participating in this Summer’s “I’ve Got Hue, Babe” project collab challenge! It included using two lush fat quarter bundles of the “I’ve Got Hue, Babe” fat quarter bundles from Jaftex. I chose Under the Rainbow and Pitch Dark for my project. The cross stitch look quilt block design came from one of the cards in from the Quilt Builder Card Deck by C&T Publishing. Patchwork stitched together with 50wt Aurifil thread from the Color Builder Boxes (Black 2692, Dove 2600) and quilted with Hobbs Heirloom Black 80/20 batting. And I made a checker border using 1 1/2” squares at the last minute to add to the rainbow because I didn’t want it to end! Binding fabric is Starlet from Blank Quilting and the quilt backing is Du Jour 108” wideback by Henry Glass."
