This is reverse decoupage. I took an antique mirror and scraped 80 percent of the reflective mirror off the back. Decoupaged this fairy onto the back of the scraped mirror. She is done and so very pretty. Bronze gold painted frame with a ledge at the bottom. 33 1/2 inches high and 22 inches wide.

I was approached by the Mississippi Miss Hospitality competition coordinator, Ann Kelly, to commission a piece for the 2026 winner of the title, Landry Kent. This is a picture of me and her with the design. It was an honor and I was thrilled to present it to her today. that studded shrimp for the Gulf coast was a find! Of course I added the MS flag, magnolia, state fruit- blueberry, Elvis, cranes, and since she was from New Albany, I added a teeny tiny book from William Faulkner, who is also from New Albany! I throughly enjoyed working on this.

Here she is! 2ftx3ft. You can see the height next to my dining room chairs. The biggest one I’ve ever done. NO LIGHTS. I have an LED light on her so you can see the sparkle from all the jewels. She is on a midnight blue velvet background. Imagine her leaning on a mantel at Christmas! $500. Locals only. If someone from out of town would like her, I would have to take her to UPS and have them wrap and ship. It would be close to $200. If from out of town, you must be a regular buyer from me or recommended from someone I know well.

Easy! Bury your sunflower seeds at about 6 inches for strong ones. Use a screwdriver to make the hole and drop your seed down. Zinnia seeds can be thrown on top of soil and watered in. Sit back and watch them grow. Come September the butterflies will be all over the zinnias. There are a few now, but fall is our best time for most butterflies. Still time to put sunflowers in for fall. Mine are mammoth and Russian mammoth. Takes about 75 days to blossom.

Easy peasey to dress up a plain bag. Something special for two Mothers. I made small slits on the front of the bag vertically for the ribbon and for the flowers horizontally. Filling with their favorite shortbread coconut and pecan cookies. video on how to do this is in the comments.
