My live robot-printing installation at the center of FASHIONOLOGY and All Things Fashion Tech event at the The Glasshouse

The robot spent the day printing a dress and sparked incredible conversations about the future of fashion production. Seeing so many people stop, watch, ask questions, and get excited about the possibilities of fashion technology reminded me why I started PROCODE_DRESS and why I’m passionate about merging fashion, robotics, and innovation.

Thank you to the MANYA JAIN for this amazing opportunity and to New York Robotics Robotics for providing the robot that made it possible.

The Top and Skirt - Carbon were inspired by roller coasters’ dynamic shapes. They are crafted from meticulously sewn lycra and adorned with draped threads of robot-printed sustainable material made from recycled carbon fiber and bottle caps.

Robot-printed material: ‘s Braskem GR605R-CF which is a polymer that contains 90% of recycled materials, including recycled bottle caps and recycled carbon fiber.
