Napoli, Italy. Where the next chapter of STRATA® leather is taking shape.

Leatherworking runs deep in Campania. Nearby Solofra’s historic tanneries date to the sixteenth century, placing our visit within a region whose relationship with the material spans generations.

Inside the factory, our team reviewed the first round of samples for 2027 alongside the makers. Having the pieces in hand brings a different set of questions: how a bag opens, how it carries, and where its construction needs to hold or allow movement.

These early samples make those conversations possible. Time at the factory gives us space to work through adjustments together, connecting the initial design with the practical knowledge needed to produce it.
