FITTED Underground is a custom menswear company in New York City that designs, produces and sells our own collections. We're at the beginning of our journey, and are starting with what we're most passionate about: denim. Our denim brand, DAEM BKLYN, makes the best fitting jeans in New York City.

From first sketch to finished pair.

Before the jeans, before the fades, before the stitching, it started with a pencil and a notebook in Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Bridge arcuates were originally hand drawn by me as a way to bring a piece of the city into every pair we make. Inspired by the curves and structure of the bridge itself, the design became one of the signatures of FITTED Underground.

Years later, it still ends up on every back pocket.

Built in Brooklyn. Worn everywhere.

Making the D17 Teal Kibata.

Cut, sewn, and finished in our Williamsburg workshop.

Our D13 Teal Kibata is built from 100% Japanese selvedge denim with a slubby vertical warp, beige weft, and classic red selvedge ID. Packed with character from the start and designed to wear in even better over time.

“Kibata” refers to unsanforized denim in its most natural state. The fabric has not been pre-shrunk and the yarns have not been singed, preserving the texture, irregularity, and character that make fabrics like this so special. Ours is rinsed once to remove excess shrinkage, while keeping everything that gives the denim its depth.

This is the process behind the pair.

The Chelsea Twill Selvedge workshirts dropped a little more than a week ago featuring some of our favorite details: pure brass buttons, triple stitched felled seams, chainstitch runoff and hidden collar buttons.

We’ve already sold out of the green selvedge twill, and the tan and navy are going fast as well. We appreciate everyone’s support and continued interest in our products!
