The Mariana jacket from Fine Creek is here. This model is made of a Shinki Tannery vegetable tanned tea-core dyed 1.5mm horsehide custom made to Fine Creek’s specifications and is 100% cotton gabardine lined, perfect for year-round wear.

Fine Creek makes some of the most beautiful horsehide jackets we’ve seen. These are made using a vegetable tanned Japanese horsehide from Japan’s famed Shinki Tannery, which ages in a fairly fast manner, and dyed using a “tea core” style method. The quality of stitching is as good as it gets for a leather jacket, and we’ve not seen many jackets age as well as these do. Depending on the panel they’ll use a different type of stitch thread and thread count to achieve puckering in certain areas for added character. You can find these jackets now in limited numbers at all stores.

We’re really feeling these new tubular knit raglan thermal tees from Flat Head. Quite different than what they’ve made in the past, but we like it. They’re made of an American cotton 12oz Japanese knit, finished with #30 gauge thread collar stitching, and come in a slightly oversized fit.
