Thank you for supporting handmade original art & small businesses! 🩷🐱🩷 In the 90’s I took time off from art school in Seattle and traveled to Australia and Indonesia for four months. Indonesia changed my life as I experienced the art, batik clothing and traditional dance and puppet performances, kind hearted people and just so much more. I visited both Bali and Java, and staye
d in various cities including the magical artist villages of Yogyakarta and Ubud. I saw Batik for the first time, visited art studios and witnessed the process of making batik. I purchased batik art and clothing, and even got some traditional Tjanting tools for making batik! But I never got near to making batik when I returned to the states as I was so busy learning to paint and create videos in college, until I discovered classes through master batik artist Victoria Batikwalla last year! Now I am honored to share my batik here in the form of Wearable Art! All of the clothing here are One of a Kind and are made of comfortable breathable cotton in flattering styles for every shape and size, and everyday wear! Who says you can't look cool working from home? Who says you can't be all of the things comfortable, low-key and out of this world at the same time? So If you're tired of boring leggings and mass produced t-shirts then you've found the right place. Support the Arts and be a Walking (or Reclining) Work of Art as you do! Blessings and Protective Symbols are imbued in all of my Batik painting for your safe journey in this world!
