Seersucker has remained a staple in apparel for decades thanks to its lightweight feel, breathable construction, and signature textured finish. From tailored suiting to contemporary resort wear, the fabric continues to evolve across modern collections while maintaining its classic appeal.

At Stars Design Group, we offer over 200 seersucker swatches, including sustainable options, with a range of weights, textures, and performance capabilities to support your next collection. Reach out on our website www.starsdesigngroup.com for more information.

As brands continue prioritizing comfort, versatility, and seasonless wearability, seersucker remains a fabric worth revisiting.

The hottest fashion event in St. Louis.

We had an amazing time experiencing ALTBALL alongside incredible designers, creatives, and special guest designer Utica Queen (), who brought unforgettable energy to the night. From bold runway moments to inspiring creativity throughout the event, the atmosphere was unmatched.

Even more meaningful, ALTBALL is a fundraiser supporting Doorways () and the important work they do for individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

This was such a powerful celebration of fashion, art, and community, and we’re excited because there are still more highlights, designer moments, and behind-the-scenes content coming soon

The industry didn’t return to normal after the pandemic. It rewrote the rules.

What was expected to be a period of recovery has revealed something else entirely—shifting consumer behavior, exposed supply chain fragility, and a pace of change that leaves little room for hesitation.

“Recovery promised a straight line. The industry discovered a maze instead.”

Today’s consumer is more deliberate. Operations are under pressure. Technology is no longer optional. And the assumptions that once guided growth are quietly losing relevance.

Reinvention isn’t a reaction. It’s the requirement.

As temperatures shift, so does the way we design.

This month’s Sourcing Spotlight is linen, a fabric defined by its breathability, texture, and quiet strength. Long regarded for its durability and refined ease, linen continues to shape warm-weather collections with intention rather than excess.

From its natural airflow to its understated finish, linen offers a balance of comfort and structure that few materials can replicate.

What is the linen piece you reach for most in your closet?

If you are considering linen for an upcoming collection, sourcing it well is where it begins. At Stars Design Group, we develop materials that align with both your design vision and performance.

Sustainability is no longer a differentiator. It is the expectation.

As scrutiny increases, so does the need for clarity. With more than half of sustainability claims falling short, the industry is being pushed to move beyond surface-level solutions and into real, measurable change.

From bio-engineered fibers to waste-derived materials, innovation is reshaping what is possible and what is required.

“Moving beyond these barriers requires a strategic overhaul of the entire apparel supply chain.”

The future of fashion is being built now.

2026 is already delivering a reality check for apparel.

Rising costs, shifting supply chains, and faster tech adoption are changing the game. The old playbook isn’t working anymore and the industry knows it.

Resilience is the advantage now.
