Spring is finally here, and the truck is out of hibernation. Next week, we start being open 7 days, and extending our hours to be open til 6pm every day but Sunday. Hours in our bio and on Google.
By the way… these “old s**t” totes are still available. $16, dm me if you need one. AND there’s always parking in the back of the building, Front Row Centre sticks out the furthest of all the buildings on the north side of the 100 block of Front St. and there’s a back door you can enter.
We are so looking forward to spring outfits, lighter jackets, daffodils and the farmer’s market. What’s your favorite part of spring? Tell us what you’re looking forward to!

Y’all did you know the fashion show is actually a fashion WEEKEND???
Hopefully you know about the show, Friday, May 15th at 6pm. Music by and Tin type portraits by outfit portraits by and photography by Even .glow.co has donated tanned for the models so we all look tan and hot the day of the show. The most exciting part is we will be having a cash bar, and a percent of the proceeds are going to our nonprofit partner,
We are also having a market the following day, with 15+ vendors from this year and previous years. We are hosting Tarra (a previous vendor!) to do aura portraits We will be having a mocktail bar by .muse Shea did our mocktails last year and they were incredible! And the cherry on top is will be playing music from 11-1pm on Saturday. It’s going to be so fun.
And last but not least, we are hosting a clothing swap in the atrium of slip’s building, from 11-2pm. Bring your clothes to donate, and find a cool new spring wardrobe.
The weekend is going to be full of fun, laughs and tons of creativity. Don’t miss it, get your tickets now. They are going fast!

I taught a sashiko workshop this week at the library and wow, it was special. We had a huge age range, from around 8 to probably upwards of 80, all to learn visible mending! Turn out was so great, I hope to do it again either at the library or in the shop.

Introducing Maggie, or Meemaw, to the shop. If you’ve been in recently, you’ve probably seen her plugging away in the back studio on her sewing machine. She is now taking tailoring and repair clients, and will be in the shop Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (subject to change!). Best to dm her at Margaret Gay for appointments and all inquiries!
