On June 10th, The Mechadogs had their inaugural Vex Tour, which showcases VEX robots to elementary and middle school students. We started at our own Middle Schoolers, specifically the 7th graders who are interested in learning about STEM and robotics. In addition, We presented our own “Breezy-Bot” which participated at The Hudson Valley and NYC Comps. Students Made alliances and Competed against each other, while handing other awards such as Best teamwork, Strategy, and Spirit.

On May 30, The Mechadogs assisted students throughout the school, including fellow Mechas, in preparing for the Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II Regents exams. Team members applied their mathematical knowledge to explain concepts, solve practice problems, and answer questions while demonstrating leadership through peer mentorship. By working one-on-one and in small groups, they helped students strengthen their understanding of key topics and build confidence for exam day
