I personally develop the artwork, colour palettes and visual direction behind the Milk & Marrow collections. I wanted to move away from the conventional visual language of baby products. Every colourway is deliberately composed around deep, earth-derived hues chosen for their emotional and material quality. Motifs sit in deeper tonal values of their ground, allowing the artwork to emerge gradually through contrast, shadow and texture rather than relying on loud colour separation. Pattern that does not demand attention, but rewards it.

This is what I wanted against my own babies’ skin. Pure plant fibres. The definition of buttery-soft. Not highly absorbent polymers and synthetic gels.

This is our H**p Cotton blend, woven from 55% h**p (Cannabis sativa) and 45% cotton (Gossypium).

H**p is one of the oldest cultivated fibres on earth, treasured for thousands of years for its strength, longevity and extraordinary ability to hold moisture deep within its fibres. Cotton brings softness, breathability and flexibility. Together, they create something rather remarkable: our highest-capacity insert, designed for overnight sleep, long journeys, heavier wetters and those moments when you simply need more.

H**p absorbs more gradually than bamboo, but holds significantly more. Layer it beneath our Bamboo Cotton Insert and the bamboo catches the initial rush while the h**p quietly stores it deep within the fibres.

And it just gets better with time. With every wash, the h**p and cotton bloom, becoming softer, more supple and more absorbent.

This isn’t a disposable product designed to be used and forgotten. It’s an investment piece. Something made to be washed, loved, reused and relied upon through years of cloth diapering.

If you’re researching cloth diapers, you’ve probably been told you need a 24-to-30-piece stash. I want to offer a different perspective.

Traditional covers require washing after a single use because their fabric or porous linings absorb moisture. But with a smooth, wipeable lining, the workflow changes completely. Moisture doesn't soak into the cover itself.

Because you can simply wipe it clean and reuse it between wet changes, one shell does the work of about three traditional covers. That is the 3-to-1 rule.

Instead of managing a massive, overwhelming collection, that efficiency means you can comfortably run a curated, 8-shell capsule.
